What an usual day
An unusual day on July 29, 2015 – New York City, The United-States
What an amazing day with my sist!
To start off, we had been sleeping like babies in the Manhattan hotel, but we woke up early since we’re very excited to visit NY City for the first time ! We went to Starbucks (the most famous American café!). We had breakfast: the doughnuts and the muffins were just delicious. ‘Cause we’re very organized, we’d already decided to go to some hot spots. Since our hotel was located in the heart of Manhattan, we could walk in the famous Central Park (we even saw squirrels, so cute!).
First, we took the boat and we were off to see the Statue of Liberty. It was one of my dreams and I was finally there! It was a very touristy place but we could take lots and lots of pictures, which were nice, and the weather was fine, which was double nice! Then, we wanted to buy tickets for the New York Comedy festival and we were looking forward to having a good laugh with sketches and improvisation comedies . But before reaching our destination, we got lost, and we finally asked for our way to some locals, who were very friendly and helpful. What an experience!
As I’m passionate about history, and especially the egyptian history and ancient Egypt sculptures, we got off the subway to visit The Metropolitan Museum of Art on 5th avenue. Once our visit finished, my sist and I went to Diamond Street. Oh my god! This street was absolutely gorgeous and shiny. We’ve bought presents for our family and friends. We were like “Pretty woman”. Plus, we could see many celebrities like Rihanna in the New Yorker streets.
We are crazy about this hectic city and we already want to go back!
