A ONE WAY TRIP TO THE RED PLANET

The candidates who have been selected, will leave our planet Earth for a great and special mission special to discover the beautiful planet Mars, but do they know what to expect? Will they succeed in their project? Will they give up?

People from around the world will be selected, and only four candidates will participate in the Mars One project.

WHAT IS MARS ONE?

The Mars One is a project was created by Bas Lansdorp, an engineer, to send a colony of astronauts to the Red planet, to live there in 2024. As the project is expensive, it will pay by the contenders will be featured in a TV reality show during their trip. But the journey is no return, as the technology is not sufficient to bring the candidates back.

THE CANDIDATES AND THE SELECTION

But no panic! These brave astronauts will be prepared for this great adventure and selected thanks to criteria… Here are the main criteria

Not to forget a cover letter and a one minute video to explain why these applicants want to be the first humans to go to Mars.

To be selected, the applicants need to be athletic and motived. Besides, they need to stay optimistic whatever the situation, problems or troubles. Their mental state is very important too.

The candidates need to be:

• Efficient

• Courageous

• Bold

• Friendly (because, they live in community)

• Always cheerful

• Resourceful ( to always find a solution to a problem)

• Sense of humor ( to boost the candidates’ morale, if they feel down)

• Unique (to stand out in the TW show).
